Examples of conditions needing immediate attention are:

• Difficulty breathing
• Wounds where skin is broken
• Pale gums and weakness
• Severe vomiting
• Severe diarrhea
• Accidents—including those due to cars, falls, and fights
• Anything that makes you nervous
